Sunderland lass got a service and a full set of new Mitsuboshi belts today. Thanks Phil and Martyn, she now runs like a Ferrari. Still bl**dy noise and looks like a bag of spanners though! The grass also got a fresh cut ready for the fantastic flying weather forecast for this weekend.

A Quiet Tuesday Evening at Fulbeck.
I Managed to nip out for a quite mid week evenings flying after tea today, something I’ve not really managed to do since the Barkston Heath Summer evenings. There’s a slightly longer version of the video on the club’s Facebook page. It was a bit gusty still, and the crosswind around the trees was wicked, …

Tracking The Vandal!
Courtesy of Martyn, we now have a temporary wildlife tracking camera at Fulbeck, to try and identify the vandal who keeps digging bl**dy great holes in our hard won runway! As you can see from the video, plenty of potential culprits spotted last night, but the sneaky blighter is doing it under the cover of …

It Didn’t Take Long to Christen Fulbeck!
Phil had a bit of an ‘arrival’ at Fulbeck this afternoon! The Harmony is repairable. Unfortunately Fred’s glider tug didn’t fair as well earlier in the afternoon after an aileron reversal, the first black bag job at the strip 😢
More Work for the Team!
Work continues on removing the remains of the hangar stanchions at Fulbeck, even on a beautiful day like today, to minimise the chance of damage to our aircraft, mower blades, and car tyres. About a dozen chopped out now only about 3 dozen to go, slow going, but worth it! It is being done between …

Tiger Stooging!
A fantastic Spring afternoon in Lincolnshire. Perfect for low and lazy fly pasts in a Moth!
The Windsock!
We have found a new role for our club safety Officer. That should save us a few bob on a roach pole if we can get him to stand still!
Fulbeck is Ready!
Our new flying site at Stragglethorpe Corner is now ready for use for club members. The grass has had a second close cut today, and I hope you’ll agree its looking fantastic, especially considering it was rough set aside ground only last September. Fantastically, and just in time for opening the site, we have just …

Fulbeck Site Has Its First Trim
The new flying site at Fulbeck had its first trim and roll this weekend, and I think is looking very good for it! Hopefully it’ll have a closer trim next weekend, and then be ready for active flying.
