Our new flying site at Stragglethorpe Corner is now ready for use for club members.
The grass has had a second close cut today, and I hope you’ll agree its looking fantastic, especially considering it was rough set aside ground only last September.
Fantastically, and just in time for opening the site, we have just received our BMFA Article 16 Site Permit for the strip, allowing us to operate aircraft up to 25 Kgs up to a height of 1500 ft AGL.
The flying site rules have been updated to reflect this, and the relevant documents are now available from this website to inwardly digest before you go skyward.
